Pastas
Pasta - It's different here. Our pasta comes from Italy: Abruzzo, Veneto, Tuscany and Puglia. It's all made in small batches, extruded through bronze dies, and air dried for true taste and texture.
Our brand names include Rustichella d'Abruzzo, Gina and Sofia, and Pastificio Giacomo Rizzo. We've even got hard-to-find Pici from near Siena!

Our classic Penne Rigate ("ridged") comes from the sea-swept plains of Abruzzo. Made with bronze dies, and full of flavor and texture, this favorite shape holds up well to chunky sauces such as our Tomato Basil or Artichoke and Sweet Red Pepper Sauce.

Sweet little nibbits of pasta, traditionally made from the small pieces left over from cutting pasta by hand. Resourceful Italian housewives turned them into a tasty art form, perfect for smooth sauces such as marinara or Tomato Vodka sauce.

Our little nests of Tagliatelle are a tradition of Emilia-Romagna and are classic served with Bolognese sauce. Eggs, a typical ingredient of Northern Italy, add richness, a nice counter to the delicate cut of the pasta. Serve with any heavy sauce.

These farfalloni ("butterflies") won't fly away. We call them bow-ties, but they're rich in durum wheat and perfect with any heavy sauce. Traditionally served with tomato and cream sauce, such as our Tomato-Vodka sauce, but experiment a bit!

This beautiful Tuscan pasta hails from a small town near Siena. Its nests of durum wheat unfurl as it cooks, an dplumps to twice the diameter. The pasta is solid, not hollow, and is as satisfying to the tooth as to the taste buds. Nancy's favorite!

The beautiful colors in our farfalle pasta from the Rizzo family in Venice aren't fake. They come from actual items found in nature. The flavor is subtle but fantastic, and the colors don't fade. The butterfly shape is a favorite of young and old.
